We had a great time at Nanaimo’s huge Beban Park Playground! With swings, slides, tons of things to climb on plus a racetrack for tykes with trikes this is a great place to take the kids!

“Named after the Beban Family who lived on the 160 acres of land from 1930s-1950s Beban Park is Nanaimo’s premier recreation complex offering activities for everyone. You’ll find some of the city’s key recreational facilties and amentities located here; arenas, indoor swimming pool, social centre, soccer fields, playground, tennis courts, basketball hoops, equestrian centre, bike parks, community gardens, petting farm (seasonal), fitness circuit, dog off leash area, golf course and driving range, two artificial turf fields, BMX track and a dog park.”
