Welcome to Uplands Area

Uplands is a pleasant and well-developed neighbourhood with homes built between the 1970s-90s and a few newer developments and condos. The houses range in a variety of styles and prices, and mainly attract upper-middle class families. Properties often perch on rocky hillsides while other homes can be found at the base of small ravines. With its uneven topography, this neighbourhood makes for large lot sizes and fabulous views.

The location is relatively central, starting from the upper section of Departure Bay and curving its way to Nanaimo North Town Centre. The neighbourhood is maturing beautifully, with city protections in place for Linley Valley nature area and several popular ocean parks just minutes away. Residents will appreciate the quick accessibility of Neck Point Park, Pipers Lagoon Park, and Linley Valley. Several amenities also surround the area for added convenience.

Long Lake Heights is one of the most desirable neighbourhoods with unique topography, southern exposure and gorgeous views of Long Lake, Diver Lake and Mt. Benson.
